Description

This unit on Astronomy has three main components. 

1. Using the Internet, text book, and other supplemental materials, students will become familiar with our solar system and the planets that neighbor Earth.
2. Students will develop a realistic scale for the solar system and construct a digital model of their chosen planet using a digital diagramming tools, such as Creately or Mywebspiration. 
3. Students will develop a Prezi, PowerPoint, or Kid Pix™ presentation about their planet to present to the class, complete with information about their planet, including satellite pictures of their planet.
