SMART Boards are interactive white boards that allow teachers to engage students in ways that the traditional chalkboard or whiteboard cannot. Teachers can create dynamic presentations that incorporate text, audio and video media, and information that is collected during class. SMART Boards allow students to interact and manipulate information on "the board" in ways other than simply writing. The SMART Exchange is a lesson sharing site for SMART Board activities. Teachers can use SMART Exchange sharing site to contribute and access lesson ideas about using the SMART Board to engage students in the classroom.
