Using VoiceThread, groups can have web-based conversations that may be embedded with images, documents, and streaming video. VoiceThreads are collaborative multimedia slide shows that allow participants to navigate the slides and leave comments using voice, text, and video. VoiceThreads can be shared and all users can leave comments. Users can also "doodle" on the slides as they listen and navigate as an additional way to communicate and collaborate with other users. VoiceThread is web-based, so there is no software to install and is platform independent. Students and teachers can access VoiceThread from any computer with Internet access.
